The Bluebell Fairies
One day on a walk in the woods
I rested by a wandering stream
Soon I drifted off to sleep
And had a wonderful dream
I saw myself dancing
In the pale moonlight
Among the Bluebell fairies
It was such a lovely sight
All around they gathered
With a curtsy here and there
I couldn't keep up with their music
But they didn't seem to care
When I awoke I found myself
Humming an unknown tune
It must be the one the fairies played
While we danced beneath the moon
I'm so sorry it was just a dream
And I'd love to go back some night
To dance with the Bluebell fairies
In the pale moonlight
