The Blue Water
Everything used to be very clear wrong was wrong, right right
These beliefs we held so dear even willing to stand and fight
You were able to see clear through, right to the other side
The nations intentions were true and built upon great pride
Then came along a drop of blue but in time soon blended in
Something that never before flew just added that slight din
And there it stayed for a while till came another blue drop
All the water it could not defile but here it would not stop
For more drops came along and at a quicker and quicker pace
A nation once so strong has now lost so much of God's Grace
First the change was slow and most people really didn't notice
Yet as time went on though, this blueness you couldn't miss
Now the water is completely blue and now no one can separate
For without God nothing can be true as is now this nations fate
In your ear I don't want to preach but you need to read His Word
For only His Glory can bleach all those drops that have occurred
