The Blue Moon and You
The Blue Moon and You
Behold the date has just begun
After the setting of the sun
To sit on a night when the Blue Moon shone
To blend with the stars to gaze at the moon
It lightened the sky with a vibrant hue
You sat next to me and your touch was true
Our fantasies meshed with a heartfelt pace
Your hand felt my lips as your arms would encase
Abandoning care as you held me tight
Sharing our love with the lunar light
The moon has past but the glow will last
Time blessed us deeply into the blue
Of night when it came and then rose the sun
To repeat once again that time with you
Once in a Blue Moon my wish could come true
This poem is dedicated tho the rising of the
blue moon after sunset on July 31
plus a little romance on the side.
