- The busing company I work for is nationwide so this could have been anywhere. Thankfully this event was not at my location.
- This is a rant.
- When an unattended child event happens, every adult on the bus gets fired, as they should. It is a company wide policy.
A first grader somewhere today
was left alone on a bus,
unacceptable I say!
Riding a bus with the kids is fun
but, at my last stop my job is not done.
I can't return without a thorough search,
on each and every seat,
on the floor, in the isle or anywhere between.
The blue light was hung as a reminder
to search one more time
because a first grader alone on the bus today.
One time event is one time to many.
