The Blue Jay

A cerulean jay
perches
atop a papaya tree.
One goitered old woman
preens
a bright comb
in chartreuse hair.

Again, wonderfully painted. The imagery is so clear. "Goitered old woman" . . . now that is an image. -- Dean
