The Black Sheep

I am the black sheep, the odd one out, With faults and flaws that leave no doubt, I'm different from the rest, that much is true, And often, I feel alone and blue. I don't fit in with the crowd, And my ideas are often frowned, My voice is silenced, my opinions unheard, I'm ignored, neglected, ostracized, and absurd. But despite it all, I stand tall, And I embrace my unique call, For being the black sheep is not a curse, It's a blessing, a gift, a privilege, and a verse. I march to the beat of my own drum, And my journey is never done, I am bold, fierce, and daring, And my spirit is forever flaring. So let them call me what they may, For I know I am not here to betray, I am a masterpiece in my own right, The black sheep, the star, the light.
