The Birth of You and Me

THE DEEP OF YOUR EYES I still remember falling through your eyes; the deep of longer nights, what love can do; I saw you cry, and living someone's lies, believing every line; the pain of you. I still can feel the warmth that is your life, your reaching out, your begging for a friend; as searching for someone without a knife; yes I recall your eyes, they have no end. I still remember Love was born that night, and stays alive in sweet and summer rain; the birth of We, the birth of dark and light, the deep of never ending life in pain.     I still hold dear the locking of our eyes,     and all the joy that comes from truth and lies.
