The Birth of the Broken

Silence No clocks ticking No wind blowing No thoughts No mind Blessed, calm, serene, almost holy Silence Shadows Crawling Cowering Sneaking Staring Listening “You almost had me” They heard “But now you lost me for sure Cause I know You’re not worth it Just not worth it anymore” “But then again stranger “ The Lord behind him said “Who is ever worth it What is ever worth it Worth struggling for Worth crying for Worth reaching for Worth dying for” A whimper was What shadows heard As his head and heart Broke into pieces “Nothing Sir” The Broken said “Very Good” The Lord replied “Then thou shalt come with me” “Yes my Lord My greatest Lord My only Lord” They heard the Broken shaping up As he was kneeling down Then they heard him voice his vow He filled the emptiness With an eerie sound “I, Oh Lord, Shall share My Pain My Pride It’s broken Deep Inside Share The Pain Break The People Break Their Minds Break Their Hearts Break And keep living By being Broken” A Smirk was what the shadows saw The widest Grin they’ve seen so far From the greatest Lord of Shadows A tempest rose Storming winds A thunder roared A blinding strike The Shadows Were gone The Broken And his lust of blood Left to do What’s left to do He bared his teeth Oh Yes That’s good The Silence He remembered The Silence But there are still things To Break Before he could go Silent
