The Birth

Our Savior was born
in a manger Christmas day
son of Mary and Joseph
child of Bethlehem
under the star of David
that led three wise men to him

Bringing with them gifts
from one was the gift of gold
second gift was of incense
third gift was of myrrh
shepherds came in from the field
to worship the new born king

Almost Christmas day
let us celebrate our king
let us remember his life
remember his words
remember his sacrifice
let us bow our heads and pray

Our Lord Jesus Christ
we love you with all our hearts
we celebrate in your birth
we praise your Glory
we worship you Lord Jesus
in us you live forever

                  Amen
