The Biggest Splish Splash

Grizzly bear is outrunning the eagle
They have spotted the same catfish jump
The splish splash of the water was enormous
It will be a tasty morsel for the bear

She cannot fly off with it anyway, the bear thinks.
This catfish weighs more than she does.
Empathetic, the catfish feels terror like never before
She burrows into a cool bank, barely breathing.

I have wondered if fish have a premonition of death when a hawk flies over. I saw a pelican with a huge fish in its mouth on my trip. I don't know how he managed to keep it, but he did. And, I don't know how he managed to snag it from the bay.
