The Big Oak Tree On the Hill

The most defining moment of one's, Life is when you realize you thought, You had it all figured out. I see a lonely little flower thinking, How fragile all by itself. Yet she's very happy she gets all the sun. When it's windy you think, Oh no, she's going to get blown away. But no she's thinking I get to, Spread my leaves and, Throw caution to the wind and live. Plants, flowers, trees and people, Simply just like being alone. The Big Oak Tree on top of the hill, Is the most romantic of all. This majestic beautiful tree that can, Be seen for miles whose had, More picnics, more dates and, More engagements than, Any tree in the county. The tree reminds me of my, Grandfather who was tall and majestic. He was 6'8" and I would hang, From his arms just like limbs on a tree. The best memory of all was to lay, Against the tree with my grandfather, Taking a nap on a lazy afternoon.
