The Big Comment Race

                      12/12/2023





Be sure  that you stay up all night?
Comment to everyone with a poem in sight.

This way, people think you really care!
You are a deer in pride’s headlights, do be aware..

You are just a number count in their book
A fish caught by a  glowing comment’s hook

They are like traps for unaware poet bears.
We think we are loved, but there is nobody there!

Like fish, we get caught by commen’s hooks.
Tis a better idea to read  many great books!

Remember, not being online is no great sin.
Run in the snow,be with family, love the skin you are in!

I already had my share of fame in my life and I don’t want anymore. Spotlight is a great place to be in.. was there. But time when you realize love, family, and country and God come first. If and when I retire, I will certainly try my best to keep up with commenting, I don't know how people have so much time to comment on so many poems/poets. Being with family and friends takes up a lot of my time, for sure. But one thing I can guarantee you, is that I won't be running in the snow (lol) Merry Christmas to you and your family. If you type over 100 mph, and andwer in one word, like “Grear”, and sat nothing else, you cam comment to many,. I see that as pointless, why use wprds at all!! A comment is not an emoji. Its your analysis! Anyway, you are a people persin.we dont play the comment game with another. You dont know how you will feel. Things happen to us. Running in snow? Thats a NO for me. But it got way too hard to keep that pace. Now I am lucky to have time just to comment to people who came to my poetry. I do prefer when comments come from the heart and are not exaggerated.
