The Bible: How can we as pots of clay understand
the reality that the Word of God is really in fact,
Jesus Christ! This is something that has to be
taken by faith alone!

The Bible
Though the Bible in our modern world has been honored
as the best-selling book of all times
yet reading and studying this precious gift from God
is a direct command of yours and mine.
For what purpose or earthly good does it have
to sit on that dusty old shelf
you should know it takes discipline and strength to study it every day
and we must work at it as it is God’s given wealth.
Within its covers are more than mere stories
of good and evil men and women of the past
as the Lord said, “Though Heaven and earth may pass away”
My Word will forever last.
There are layers of revelation, wealth and knowledge
hidden in each and every line
and though you read it inexhaustibly every day
you wouldn’t have discovered all of its nuggets though you live to age 99.
The Word of God even became incarnate in the
flesh of a most Holy man
Jesus Christ descended from Heaven to walk among men
now just try to understand that if you can.
This is why those written words are so alive and even
jump at us off of the page
they are living and active and sharp as a two-edged sword
because those words ARE Jesus Christ by that precious name.
