LIKE A SWORD
IT’S WORDS COME INTO OUR LIVES
DIVIDING THE TRUTH FROM THE LIES
IT IS LIKE A LIGHT
SHINING, BRIGHT
ILLUMINATING THE WAY
SO THAT WE MIGHT
CHOOSE THE SURE PATH
AND NOT STUMBLE
OVER ROUGH PLACES
THE BIBLE IS
A TRUE COMPASS
ALWAYS KEEPING US ON COURSE
DIRECTING US TOWARD
OUR FINAL DESTINATION
THE BIBLE IS
A LOVE STORY
CALLING US BACK
TO THE ONE
FROM WHICH WE CAME
LOVE DEMONSTRATED
IN SUPREME SACRIFICE
COVENANT RELATIONSHIP DESIRED
THE KING OF GLORY
IS CALLING HIS BRIDE
TO WALK BY HIS SIDE
