The Best Years of Our Lives

Our aches and pains an endless drain
Life a war ‘gainst stress and strain

Seeing us so pitiful, friends condescend
             Our response defensive, we miscomprehend

For they just don’t know what to do
facing a stranger they now misconstrue

Life is hard to figure out at times. Try not to take offense, pursue love of mankind, stand up for justice, love God above all. True, sometimes we don’t know what to say or do. Hugs

hmm,..., I guess times of stress and strain, can increase the chances of unfortunate miscommunications. I think I can relate to that.

To me this speaks of aging and changes we go through. Time breaks us down outside but we fight to keep ourselves young at heart if we are smart. Did I read this wrong? Good engaging writing Gershon!

You got it right, young lady. Way to go. ... I'd hate to have to say that I wronged you ~ Gershon
