The Best We Know

The heart wants, what the mind, can never, truly come, to be.
The mind always questions, when the heart, will often disagree.
Life comes as life goes, life spent onward, as life then truly comes.
People deal, what they must deal, hoping minus vs the entire sums.

The retrieval of the words, said to each other, is never what, you want to hear.
The answers you thought you heard,in reference to, is never, ever truly clear.
Self holds on to what is dear, to try to let go of all the pain, held down inside,
then when others are near, try to deflect, sad feelings, they then, try to hide.

What one wonders, with problems going on, how did, one then, got involve
in a world, while existing to live, blamed because there is no real, true solve.
No one else but you, standing there, right there in front, for them to all see,
just because of who you are, then what happens, is reason, hate will agree.

All this, and all that, coming into the person, trying to gain the strength,
to approach the difficult life one must come to live, during timely length.
How can it be, what do we do, and why is it the reason, the way it's so,
all one can really do, in the life we live, is figure out, the best we know.
