The Best
The love I have for you
Shines like a beacon in the night
It is like having beautiful sunshine
Bathe me with glorious light
I have never had the pleasure
Of knowing someone just like you
It brings exquisite joy to me
Knowing that you love me too
You are the most wonderful person
And I see the love light in your eyes
And with this kind of love we share
There will never ever be good byes
I trust you with my heart and soul
I put both lovingly in your care
Keep them safe wrapped in your love
Such a love as we now share
And when the day comes I must go
And I face eternal rest
I shall pray with all my heart
And be grateful I had life’s best
There is not more that I would ask
For I have had a beautiful picture of life
Painted lovingly by your hand my dear
And you colored me as your wife
And when the time finally comes
For you to face eternal rest
I will be there waiting for you
And once again we will have the best
