The Beginning of the End
I'm lying in my bed again.
Body aches,
I can't escape.
Wishing I were dead again.
Remember the mistakes,
But it's too late.
Your world is suffocating,
a truth I can't deny.
I say that I belong here,
I know that it's a lie.
I can't keep on pretending,
cause this is killing me.
You know I'll always love you,
But baby now you're free.
I used to feel so safe with you.
But now that phase of us is through.
Where's the pleasure to match the pain?
How long'd you think think that I could play this game?
Your world is suffocating,
a truth I can't deny.
I say that I belong here,
I know that it's a lie.
I can't keep on pretending,
cause this is killing me.
You know I'll always love you,
but baby now you're free.
