The Bee

THE BEE!
Not allowed to write about love
No reason or whys
This is about my first crush
The girl passed right by me

I smile softly to the one with curls
She is the cutest I’ve ever seen
Her face straight from a cover girl magazine
Her eyes are too much for this world
A honey made for me
I walk away to the other end.
I see, she really notices me.
I continue talking to my friends.
When another girl has her eyes on me
Dropping her books
Putting her ass where I can see.
In front of my friends, I had to pretend,
 That It was a joy
I have one thing to say,
Why did I allow myself to be stung by the wrong bee?

I would like to welcome you to PoetrySoup Boy. If you would like to have more of your poetry read please limit your postings to 3-5 poems per day. In doing this more of your poetry is read and other poets can also have theirs read. I also wish you the best in your writing endeavors. If you have questions please feel free to ask anyone here. We are all willing to help and if we don't know the answer we will find someone who does. Love, Carol

Look out for those stings, Baby Boy. You're bound to experience many of them throughout your life. It's really nice reading the works of young poets here. Your mom must be proud! Love, Carolyn
