The beauty through broken glass
Lay there thinking of the past
Everyday feels like another year
Begging for her to be done here
She'll never leave for she has seen
Such a beauty through broken glass
He looks at her and it's like a dream
She cannot believe such time has passed
Day by day they move forward
Through the obstacles they surpass
Looking at the beauty through the broken glass
They will make it, they will last
As the day comes to and end
They lay together taking in
All the things that have come to pass
Looking at the beauty through the broken glass.
