The Beauty of Mountaintop Lake

The Prussian clear blue water exaggerates my observation, the reverie lingers with an ebb flow of nature’s sounds- I feel at ease when gazing at this beautiful God-given creation of the majestic Mountaintop Lake, its elegance resounds. The colorful fish wearing pink, yellow and purple hues, at the shore, the pebbles surface the tide like romance- Sitting on top of our cabana I get a marvelous treetop view, my heart sings, as my soul is lifted in dulcet dance. The top of the mount is blanketed in melting snow, the altitude is so high it always leaves a slight chill- As I watch the children playing hide-and-seek below, I inhale the spring breeze and my heart lays still. Mother Nature holds such grace when I glare in awe, she reveals her desire to bring harmony and peace- When I remember all the years here there’s not one flaw, And as I grow older my passion for this lake does increase. Delightful imagery you've conjured up here, Laura. I especially like the "inhale the spring breeze" line! Congratulations on your high-placed win! Regards, John.
