The Beat That Leads My Heart To Peace
Praying for love and world peace
A song of hope to never cease
To see life shine in other's hearts
Across a world in foreign parts
That there will come a glorious Day
When tears of hate are washed away
The tyrant's jeers at mother's tears
Gone forever more
Golden days of sunshine and finally, no more war
Though loving hearts would march in peace
Thus far the sorrows do not cease
There's Hope of peace for everyone
That lives and breathes beneath the sun
There is a day a comin'
Do you hear this drummer drummin?
And all the tears, and all the war
Gone with earth's sorrows forever more
A flash of Light, a mighty shout
The Savior throwing hatred out
Bringing love and world peace
A song of joy to never cease
The King of kings, the Mighty One
The Holy Savior, Precious Son
Thus is my hope, this is my prayer
His trumpet sound will fill the air
This rhythmic hope will never cease
The beat that leads my heart to peace
