The Beach

We walked along the beach, talking
Our breath smelled like coconut palms,
Our palms grew trees,
We got lost in the forest of our hands,
Hoping not to get so heated up
That we expose ourselves in a
Blazing forest fire of love.

Dear Juli, I enjoyed your beautiful beach poem, here in Canada we have snow, so it was a welcome sight, thank you for sharing, God bless
