The Battle Within
I am strong
But I am tired
Let me rest
For just a while
Take the reign and lead me
Allow me to be free
I have led for so long
I want nothing more
Than to just be me
Give me an hour or just a day
Some "me" time will help
I'll be ok
I'm happy yes - but I cry
Inner tears I shed
And don't know why
My Spiritual Battle
It's all inside
A deep breath
I Sigh
I am strong
But I am tired
Let me rest
