The Battle For Mother Earth

Mother earth....
an organ in the body of the universe.
Once pure and full of life,
is now full of venom,
from the bite of humanity.
Her ocean arteries now contaminated with toxins...
her muscles, known as mountains...tremble and shake,
as the poison now makes it's way through her river of veins.
No cell of life can escape it's wrath.
She struggles to breathe...
but the air is full of corruption and defilement.
The fangs of humanity have turned on their host.
Even though her cry echoes out...
it has been muffled by the rattle of the tail of greed and insensitivity.
Will the healing serum of awareness and responsibility
be administered soon enough?
or will she give up her gallant fight and succumb.

This is exactly the truth as it is! It would recover quickly if only we only could put a lid on our greed!
