That looks like a picture of the maldives. This is a very deeply moving poem, and i loved the way you’ve delivered it in such a creative and soulful manner, “ Bog” a word im not familiar with, although we use it not in a very pleasant way. However that last line says it all, sometimes we feel that emptiness despite the ups and lows. Hits strong. Best wishes for the contest. Pleasure always reading

It could be!! 'Bog' yes (oh dear) it does have a dual meaning here too.. however.. in this context a muddy field will suffice. Nowhere near as nice as the Maldives for sure :)) Thanks for bigging-up my humble effort, Ink!
