The Bait Debate

The Bait Debate
Franklin Price

The Bait Debate that's what I think
Was the debate of yesterday
Debaters and moderators
For sure had come to play

From the confusing introductions
To the closing statements there
No phrases were illegal
Every stated word was fair

Beat their chests and huffed and puffed
Blew houses to the ground
Little piggies listened to themselves
Their voices were the only sound

Time for answers sixty seconds
Rules were made to be ignored
What they said so very interesting
No way anyone was bored

When the time had reached its limit
And the final seconds tocked
Continued when they heard the bell
Should have been electric shocked
