And the photos, oh the photos!
Engulfed me with joy
With the rescued infant
Swaddled in rainbow colours
And alive, so alive
Getting better every day
Joy is the emotion to feel
Unasked, unbridled
Inspired by you and your stories
Of love, and victories
All power to the Alexandrine
And your caring and sharing
Long may we all survive
To experience this daily lift
It is one of your gifts
