The Autum Chill

The Autum Chill
J. H. Bays

Autum was coming
Winning it's race
Leaves changing colors
The Wind cutting my face

Falling to the Ground
Yellow and Maroon
Crushed Underfoot
Under you

Night came early
Closer everyday
Lights in the Windows
Projecting my stay

Warmpth becomes scarce
Long sleeves drape around
Autum's Chill has arrived
Autum's Chill spreads around town

I like the verses in this poem; it makes autumn sound lovely.
