The Askance Chapter 5 Part 2d

Because of the poison she suffers for
I must save her to see her alive and well
In return, to her I cannot say I adore
For the curse to measure up in us to dwell

Perhaps words from Sylvius can turn out to be true
Perhaps that one day will come, for our curse be lifted away
Yet, what if the turnout be of negative conception knew
Will our lives be led in separation of love never to say?

It pains her as well as I do to admit
The love she cannot have, the love I cannot give
As for the promise to Ei-rian, it becomes only harder to keep
The every reason, the every cause of years she believe

I hope I need never explain anything to any one of them
I do not mind to suffer this immeasurable pain on my own
In obeying Heaven’s bidding, I guess there is a need for consent
Rather I choose to have a pure path for ourselves be known

In the coming days, how am I to go by?
This love, this thought, this moment, this time?
How much more of reasons can I conjure to deny?
To admire a Sun to rise with beauty to shine

‘You may not know the sacrifice I have made for your curse
You may not know the reason in my doing to honestly feel
Defiance in secular interest isn’t the means of ethical love
And of isolation from you, from The Ancients I’m to say now…

I do love you’
