The Askance Chapter 4 Part 6c
Let a moment be left for you Sir Knight, to cautiously consider
The consequence to face till the curse be lifted one day, forever”
{Once again, is the Gods in profound trickery to undermine
Us as mortals to suffer their lain path of in-comprehensive time
In order to ensave Alkaiya must I be in bond with her soul
To travel together and to battle as individuals to each a role
However, with the known fact to embrace lies the least of fear
Rather, it’s the significance of love never to be… is to tear
After all this time… when everything seems to be in place
The drastic turn has to unfold for yet another peril to face
With thoughts of the promised peace to The Ancients in one hand
Or to love and share a death with nothing else to matter of when?
I spared a thought for a while, looking at Alkaiya once more
And with Twit looking upon me, I carried her into the ascendancy hall}
“Needless to say, I already knew what you have in mind
Upon risk with which to face, I shall nay harass to remind
Be it so… mayhaps of words I should and will offer in solace
Conceptualise yourself to be in hearty bonds with her at the best
There is to be no other who can be as close in spiritual essence
Though nay to be in love, there is more to be in existence
Though a healer I’m engifted to be in my time to serve
I do make sense of what it beholds to be… to be in love
It never is of your choosing to choose the sparse choices of choice
Only to accept the path of Heaven with us manipulated as toys
Now, one may lie down as still beside the Mistress of War
For the coming of dawn, will Alkaiya be life and well as recall
Do not trouble yourself with affection, Knight of the Word
More important matters are to be dealt with, of fate be heard
Or mayhaps you can live in hope for the curse be one day cured
And mayhaps then, can love be declared with a bond truly pure”
