Angel Deaths
A dark dawn
Still more illegals cross the border
  ~ They've 'done nothing wrong'

Peace and Love
Olive Branch, in mouth of Dove
In corpore sano, mens sana*
  ~ 'Recreational' Marijuana?

Build Back Strong!
Build Back Mighty!
Billions plucked for
  ~ Day Care 'Infrastructure'

O, such beating of chests
Such thumping of fists
Anxious, we await
  ~ Euphemism's next twist

I suppose we shall see, won't we, GW? I liked your poem, appreciated your thoughts. Just hope some of the potholes in our street get fixed and more so the underground municipal pipes. They are a mess.

And here's hoping that pot-holes don't get politicized because of the word's first three letters. Maybe they ought to change the word before it happens. lol. ~ Cat's out of the Bag

All I seek is clarity, Richard. Some will be meek; others mighty. So what? We all get in our pants one leg at a time... Things don't need to be so overwhelming, do they?! -- Day care is NOT infrastructure. Bridges and Roads are. Illegal border-crossers are NOT 'undocumented residents.' Illegal border-crossers are lawbreakers. Truth should be Truth. Peace should be Peace, 2 + 2 = 4. And the Orwellian totalitarianism of '1984' should not be allowed to overrun an allegedly free republic. Here's to the restoration of Clarity, Truth, and Sanity ~ gw

How about praying accompanied by a denunciation of falsehoods such as 'Day Care is Infrastructure' and 'Illegal Border-Crossers are not lawbreakers?' If we can't tell the truth to ourselves, Richard, we are doomed as a free Republic. Mr. Xi, Mr. Putin, and the Mullahs are licking their lips in anticipation of the West rotting from within... Courage is required today more than ever. Common sense too... Thanks for the soapbox. Now I'll wash out my big mouth with the residue. Cheers, Gershon
