The Art of Sight

The picture
Painted by an artist,
That pleased my eyes,
Took me
To the place,
Where the artist paints
But, I saw the God, there.

The music
Harmonized by a musician,
That entertained my soul,
Took me
To the place,
Where the musician composes
But, I saw the God, there.

The ballet
Performed by a dancer,
That energized my life,
Took me
To the place,
Where the dancer dances
But, I saw the God, there.

The poetry,
Crafted by a poet,
That enlightened my heart,
Took me
To the place,
Where the poet writes
But, I saw the God, there.

But I lost myself,
As I saw the God,
The God of his own world,
And a man of Heaven,
Who has no eyes,
But has only the mind.

This took me to a place of deep contemplation. Love the repetitive form which emphasises the God permeates all existence, especially the creative/expressive forces. I look forward to reading more of your well-honed verses as much of what I have read so far on this site is of a very amateurish standard and full of glaring grammatical and spelling errors.
