THE ART OF LOVE

YOU MAY THINK AND YOUR FRIENDS MAY SAY
THAT ALL I WRITE, ALL I EXPRESS
MY DEEP FEELINGS AND DISTRESS
ARE NOT FOR YOU
NOT ANYTHING ABOUT YOU

BUT THEY ARE WRONG, VERY WRONG
AND SO ARE YOU
FOR YOU ARE INDEED
MY MUSE, MY INSPIRATION
THE ONLY ONE I THINK ABOUT

AND MY HEART ACHES ONLY FOR YOU
WITH THE THOUGHTS AND
WISHES AND DREAMS
THAT I KNOW WILL NEVER
COME TRUE

TO ME YOU ARE
AND YOU WILL FOREVER BE
THE ONE LOVE
I CAN NEVER FORGET
