THE ART OF LETTING FO FOR GOD

The Art of Letting Go for God

Over the past three days
I have faced a challenging contradiction
Am I appealing to Christ, the Savior
the man who died on the cross for me
Yet I have no answer

You know, faith is the one thing
I find hardest to have
in God, in people, in myself
But to be a better Christian
faith is all I should hold

One of the hardest things I face
is the very thing I must conquer

I am all I am with God
My mind is God’s
my creation is God’s
my beauty is the Lord’s

O Lord of Nazareth
look upon me
and build the faith I struggle to have
Guide me to be one of Your disciples

I couldn’t care less
that I am a body of sin
a body of sin that wants You
and You alone

My Lord, I used to look at people and judge
I still do
Yet I know You
You who look upon those who sin daily
and still love them

If I allow You into my life
You will pull me out of my convictions
My big sins will become small

You alone are all I have
