The Arc of Life

Life consists of a happy youth The beginning of a lifelong arc Then a dear dear family comes next Life is like a day in the park Joy and laughter are number one We just can't believe our luck Then we notice our first grey hair And panic begins to erupt Must be a mistake, it can't be true I'm at the top of the curve Perhaps a grave error has just occurred Now “grave” that ain't a good word Still very vibrant and filled with pizzaz I'm much too young to get old However I do feel a chill, it just can't be This body's starting to feel cold Imagination is running away with me Still got lotsa gas in the tank Just hit the ancient age of eighty years old Guess I've got good genes to thank! © Jack Ellison 2015

Jack turned 80! The good news is NOW you can spend your time eating anything you like, You may sleep as long as you wish and when you WAKE UP JACK you can begin searching for all those things you misplaced minutes ago! CHEERS...

I'll be 63 this year. Thought I was already there. Nice surprise. Scientific advancements have helped me stay here a few times. Go Scientists! Go!. Hubby, Dragon, and Grandpa Troll keep me young! Hey! Someone wanted me to bring my Menage to the radio as a part of their show! That would have been sssoooo cool. But I was startled and my mind blipped! I got confused (darn mind) and scared them off! AND I can't even remember who they were! Naturally, they didn't call back. BAD genes! BAD genes! LOL

My ARC of Life... Has more curves... than Dogs and Horses 'running the poles' in a fancy show that wins them ribbons and trophies...

It happened a few weeks ago. So be Happy! Remember, You could be cute, young, loveable me... with mind blips and already on disability. Not fun... But it's got me smiling that I found Hubby, all of you, and the manage. Gotta cherish each day. There is always someone worse off than you... I've seen others worse than me... Or better off- that can't see how lucky they are... That's REALLY sad!
