The Apple of Eden
His undivided attention won,
In a web she deftly spun,
Beneath a brooding sky above,
Pendulous guillotine time now swung,
Her lips caressed and imbibe his tongue,
The stage is set for this eternal evil has begun,
Moment to late with the closing of the gate now done,
Adam walking limp being burned by the sun's spell,
Eve's aimless thoughts numbed in a hallow shell,
Thinking of the rose garden and not of this endless hell,
Surrounded by skeletal remains of vultures and gazelles,
Forever adept in cruelty is a curse of man,
Breathless wind with the gaze of a seraphim,
Lost in a desert of a Godless broken land,
Roaming and moaning until collapse then buried by sand.
