The Antidote
When you’re home after taking a trip
In a car or a plane or a ship
And your bags are unpacked
You may find yourself racked
With the doldrums, so here is a tip:
Do some research and start to explore
Places you haven’t been to before.
Get your calendar out
And, without any doubt,
Start to plan and your spirits will soar.
For the antidote to being bored
Is to have a goal worth working toward.
So if travel’s your thing
Let your fancies take wing;
Looking forward will be your reward.
