The Answer He Seeks

You are the lady, that  for all these years I  have miss  so, 
Yours is the image  I have see in every place I go.
I long once more to see your face and caress  your gentle cheek,
To gaze into your eyes and find the answer from your heart and soul I seek.
I carry these memories with me all this  time until  again together we will be.
Though we are miles apart, know my wish is true,
To stay with you now and never  again  to leave you.
I gaze up at the stars and wish upon the one with the brightest light,
Commanding  it to watch  over you  and keep you safe until the morning brings  You the sun's light.
And so my lady may you sleep peacefully and if by chance you dream of me,
Smile and remember  dreams do come true 
And one day we will be together the way it was destined to be
