the answer

where is the answer? I asked
and it was provided
beheld in a sunset, given in a sunrise
lost in a bird's song sitting on a park bench
whispering in the limbs of trees swaying
the metronome in wheat fields
answers filling the night within the universe
beheld in the shadows of the moon
the oxytocin in a touch
the sweet taste of a bee's labour
a butterfly duty-bound lost in gathering nectar
deer grazing in a meadow
where the cougar will soon feed her young
it is in this essence I find it lives in me
a plethora of Kant's reasoning
my beloved lives in thee
the self I constructed has dissolved
now water seeking its true course
the oceans abiding in thee
