The Answer

Something went wrong, the world turned against us. Some said it was we that did it, some thought it was God or a Global entropy, however it was all theory. People died or went quietly mad while watching TV or shopping at the Piggly Wiggly. Eventually it came to pass that we began to understand that the planet itself was a living being and we were the actual virus. The world was experimenting with ways to fumigate itself. We fought to kill it before it killed us. We won.
