The Angel beyond my memories
The Angel Beyond My Memories
Drifting through the chain of memories,
I reached a quiet, trembling place.
There, my tears fell silently—
Past deeds casting shadows across my face.
Yet now I rest in a pond of bliss,
A gift my Present chose to weave.
Though wrapped in moments warm as a kiss,
I still weep for the seconds I must leave.
Far away, a light was softly gleaming;
Within its glow an Angel grew.
She came to me like a breeze, gently streaming,
To calm my soul and guide my thoughts anew.
Then came a second—frozen, bright—
As I drew near her tender shade.
She smiled and cast her gentle sight,
And oh, I thought, how blessed I was made.
