From Minneapolis Minnesota three pop female musicians were born. LaVerne, Maxene and Patricia, known as the Andrew Sisters They introduced the United States to Jump Blues and Calypso I recognize some of their hits instantly when I hear them. Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree with Anyone Else But Me. This trio’s music was jazzy and rhythmic, it was toe-tappingly fun.
