The Ancient Future
the far is drawing near
all sink in fear
the eyes sees anything but clear
high sees of low faces
when the chaser forgot what he chases
civilized yeah in the anals of hi$tory you'll be anylized
the moon let the sun here's the day shine a way
today's digital bars yesterday's commanding stars
we gave you steal now how do you feel
oh hologram christ true faith in hiest
open them weary eyes wipe those glowing floating lies
oh what a miracle come on we're being cynical
we hid look what you did
plastic rockets and talking pockets
a homeless with end sign
what an apocalyptic pantomime
she wore the orbits for a necklace
and the planets are nothing but gems in place
capital is the letter social is the fetter
you fools could've done better
the headless surrendered to the damned
and whined nothing is in hand
then you don't deserve the land
things are out of hand you say
fallen pets now you're in panic at pay bay
ohhhh I see the day
