The Anchored Sun
I love to sit in front of the sea, attuned to its mighty
roars and the way it tirelessly kisses the shore.
Especially beautiful when the sun is setting
on the horizon as if releasing all of its tiredness
of holding the light of the day into the cool waters
An orange ball disappearing and rising again
in the arms of a new day!
My thoughts surf on waves
As the sun drops her anchor
And says her goodbyes
Rising on show lines
Into the waves of the sky
Feeling a sea rave
