The Alarm Clock
Alarm clock, how I loathe thee!
How dare you wake me?
Dancing in Carnival in Brazil!
The lead Sambista,too, after all,
Covered with sequins and frills,
And I was to receive an award.
I want to throw you forward!
You are a monster in my life.
Waking me always to days of strife!
So off you go to a second hand
store......
Stop fussing in the bag now, you
obnoxious bore!
