The Aftermath of Your Lies

Hear my wretched cries and heal my crooked lullabies
Hear my sighs and be rid of the aftermath of your lies
Heal me, Lord, and put the anxieties at ease
Have no fear and shed no tear before the blessed breeze

Blows and blows and blows to and fro
The sun glows and glows and glows its afterglow
The radiance of our hearts are breaking apart at the seams
We need deliverance and a mending for our broken dreams

We are tearing apart at the seams once more
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies are forevermore
And it bites me like a serpent of the deep darkness
It strikes me like vigorous lightning thunder…the wilderness is where I wander
I wonder if I’ll get through this wanderlust abyss
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies are all wretched farewells, broken asunder
We are tearing apart at the seams and we are extremely forlorn
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies — we will endure till we’re torn
Apart…apart…apart by your death toll…
Take heart…take heart of our tattered soul…

Hoverplanes in the skyline are diving downwards now
Another trial-whelmed pain left us in pieces and chains somehow
Feel me through the darkness and free me from the aftermath of your lies
Conceal the negativity inside and mend my broken pride with hopeful highs

As the sorrowful hollowness deep inside grows and grows and grows
The moon and stars, they shine mightily like Jackal and Hyde
Silent wars has begun in our hearts of heavy stone and no one knows
We are torn at the seams and we are sharing our broken dreams like the love of a groom and a bride

Apart…apart…apart by your death toll
Take heart…take heart of our shattered soul…

Wish you well as you and I dwell in your cheerful cell of tranquility
But, the aftermath of your lies, lies, lies reduced me to sorrow deep down within
Your presence embraces my shameful soul and acts as a remedy
But, the aftermath of your lies, lies, lies seduced me like my one and only sin, my one and only sin

We are tearing apart at the seams once more
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies are forevermore
And it bites me like a serpent of the deep shore
It strikes me like vigorous lightning thunder to the core…

I wonder if I’ll get through this wanderlust abyss…
We are grieving in hopelessness and distress
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies
Are all wretched farewells, broken asunder like our wretched cries
We are tearing apart at the seams and we are extremely forlorn
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies — we will endure till we’re torn
Apart…apart…apart by your goodbyes…
Take heart…take heart of our lullabies…

The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies are but scars to our hearts of fearlessness
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies are all rivers and rubble of my feet down under
The aftermath of your lies, lies, lies will eventually give in to God’s truthfulness
The aftermath of our lullabies and our farewells dwell in the fiery pit unlike any other
