The Aftermath

The Aftermath

(Dedicated to all the martyrs, victims and their families -of Mumbai bomb blast)

Voices silenced,tears have dried
Frozen hearts no longer smile
Darkness veils the winter sky
Screamings echo, but for a while

Sorrow dawns over shadowed nights
Laughter lost for eternity
Wrapped in tricolor,sleeping pride
Pain filled eyes searches thee

Gathering pieces of shattered memories
as souls depart to another domain
Time may heal the gashes made,
Who will erase the scars remained?

Very sad and strong piece. I think you have captured the emotions and tragic loss. Good write. ~Des Juan

Very strong, yet heart gripping write. The scars can remain a lifetime and the healing process is sometimes very painful to endure. Love this powerful write. Great job!
