The African Hope

THE AFRICAN HOPE

Cry Africa cry
But cry with hope
Hope that beyond these senseless wars
A ceasefire shall dawn

Cry African child
But let your crying be filled with hope
Hope that when this deadly hunger ends
Abundance shall permanently replace it

Cry African woman
But never let go of your hope
Hope that everything is going to be fine
And good shall one day conquer evil

Cry my beloved motherland
But we want to keep alive our hope
Hope that the horrifying and terrifying sound of gunshot
Shall one day turn into ear tickling drumbeat

Cry Africa cry
But just keep crying with hope
Hope that the tears soaking our faces
Shall one day be wiped forever

When that time comes, "...he (GOD) will wipe out every tear from their eyes" and terrible things will occur no more. Based on Revelations 21:4. You are crying out for Africa like Enoch did for the sinful world. (Genesis 5:24)
