The Actor
Another day, gotta keep at it ,
Play the role of Ms Smiley face,
Dust myself up and put on the mask ,
And thus put on a good show,
Cause they shouldn't know,
Why should they know about behind the scenes,
Whilst they enjoy too much of what's on the screen,
Chop chop now they wanna laugh,
Remember your comedy lines,
Don't disappoint, you were appointed for this role,
And you play your part so well that they pick you out for other roles,
And you've mastered all of them ,
Counselor of all crisis.
You can’t risk sneaking them behind the scenes ,
Cause they'll never look at you with admirence again.
Gotta keep the welcomed appearance,
The performance with an ambiance,
Keep the audience warm ,
Cause nobody's gonna glance your way once they know who's behind the actor.
